Most private bankers work in the field of asset management. Their clientele is both domestic and foreign. Private bankers are organised in the form of sole proprietorships, limited and general partnerships. Those private bankers who do not actively seek deposits may waive the statutory transfer to reserve funds, since the partners are jointly and severally liable. In addition, they are not required to publish either annual or interim financial statements.
