This subcategory includes:

• preventive and remedial conservation services for historical and archaeological cultural heritage assets of all types of materials, with the aim to prolong the life of the heritage assets, to preserve its physical and historical integrity, and make them available to the public (including researchers), without compromising their authenticity and significance, whether the assets are movable or stationary, such as works of art, historical musical instruments etc..
• restoration services by retouching, reintegration, infilling and replacement of non-original parts and elements of cultural heritage assets with new materials

This subcategory also includes:

• consulting services regarding the preventive or remedial conservation of cultural heritage
• services necessary for the digitisation of cultural heritage, e.g. gathering the information and data needed for the creation of virtual replicas
